Business Analyst DEPARTMENT:
Business Office PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for financial support services to the Business Manager and the District's Central Office, including but not limited to budget versus actual reporting and analysis according to PDE requirements, administering all tax collections, federal grant reporting, and managing all district procurement cards.
TRAINING AND
Experience:
Minimum of an associate degree in business or related field, bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience Participates successfully in professional learning opportunities available to increase skill and proficiency related to assignment Participates successfully in computer training to attain and/or maintain skills necessary to achieve proficiency in performance responsibilities GENERAL:

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Business Manager in accordance with provisions of the applicable policies of the Tuscarora School District COMPENSATION:
Twelve (12) month, 40 hours per week work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with current wage guidelines and applicable policies.
PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities:
Support Business Manager with financial projects, expense analysis and ad hoc assignments, as needed Assist with the development, preparation, and submission of the district's annual budget Monitor budget execution and prepare and analyze monthly budget reports Prepare monthly board reports as necessary Assist in the coordination of the annual audit of the district Maintain and update the district's chart of accounts and budget codes in financial software Record all cash revenues and perform monthly reconciliation of district checking accounts Reconcile real estate tax payments with tax collectors Prepare real estate tax bills and distribute bills and duplicates to tax collectors Prepare various PDE and federal program reports and submit them to appropriate agency Fixed assets analysis Manage all district procurement cards (P-Cards) Perform routine integrity checks for information within the financial software Assumes any other responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager or Superintendent POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Physical Demands:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Employee must attain an Act 34 Criminal History Background Check, Act 151 Child Abuse History Clearance and Federal Criminal History Record every 60 months.
Must satisfy Mandated Reporter Training and Act 168 requirements.
Must obtain a physical examination and possess a valid driver's license.
In other respects, the successful candidate must be eligible for employment according to the provisions contained in Section 1209 of the Public School Code of 1949, as amended.
